Olympic Team Archery Explained

A quick update while the Men’s Team Archery Gold Medal Match goes on.

In team play, each team fields three archers shooting at a target of concentric circles numbered 1 – 10, with 10 being a Bulls-eye equivalent. Each team trades six arrows per “end” – like an inning in baseball – for four ends. The top score after four ends – 24 arrows – wins the match.

Teams may mix and match the shooting order.
